When I attended the recent Vienna Alumni Dinner, I was reminded of something deeply special. I was reminded that Vienna is much bigger than me, much bigger than the Class of 2025. Sitting in that room, surrounded by laughter, stories, and familiar faces from different generations, I felt the weight and warmth of a shared legacy.

There were people who had walked the same highway, used the same showers, sat in the same classrooms and gone on to thrive in worlds as varied as biotechnology, engineering, content creation, and fashion. That evening, I realized that Vienna isn’t just a place we pass through; it’s a community that continues to shape who we become long after we leave its gates.

The dinner was more than just a reunion. It was a celebration of shared experiences, growth, and the remarkable journeys that began within those same walls, only at different times. For me, it was a moment of hope a glimpse of the future and a reminder of the power of connection.

Working with the alumni community has since shown me just how transformative these bonds can be. Whether it’s offering career advice, mentoring new graduates, or rallying behind community initiatives like the recent charity project organized by the Class of 2025 and supported by alumni, the spirit of togetherness keeps us grounded.

Every message of encouragement, every shared story, and every small act of support contributes to something much larger: the preservation of Vienna’s legacy. I still remember the wave of congratulatory messages I received after my A-level results. Many came from alumni I didn’t even know personally, yet their kindness and encouragement made me feel part of something enduring and meaningful.

That’s why I believe every one of us has something to give back whether it’s a job opportunity, a piece of advice, or simply a word of encouragement. Our collective strength lies in our shared history and in our willingness to reach out to one another.

For recent graduates especially, these connections matter more than ever. We’re stepping into a world that demands courage and guidance, and who better to provide that than those who’ve already walked the same path?

So, to every Vienna alum reading this: stay connected. Be part of the community that once shaped you. Because in giving back, we keep the Vienna spirit alive and remind ourselves that the story of Vienna is still being written, one connection at a time.
